Accessible Technology in Today's Business
I recently wrote two lengthy case study chapters of the new Microsoft Press book, Accessible Technology in Today's Business, which spotlights companies leading the way in using technology to employ people with disabilities. From the chapter, "Accessible Technology in the Financial Industry":
"More financial services are going virtual, and it's imperative that RBC Financial Group look beyond physical accommodations such as wheelchair ramps in branches. Customers are using computers and automated teller machines more frequently and need to be able to interact with the bank via a computer screen. Assistive technologies help the bank's competitive position and allow it to better serve customers."
